Strandtag - A day at the beach

Heute war ein vergleichsweise ereignisloser Tag, da wir fast die gesamte Zeit am Strand verbracht haben. Der Tag begann wie immer recht früh, was uns veranlasste, direkt ohne Frühstück an den Strand zu gehen, um dort den Sonnenaufgang zu beobachten.

Today was a comparably boring day, because we spent it nearly completely at the beach. We started the day early as usual, deciding to go to the beach without breakfast to watch the sunrise.

Nachdem wir diese Fotos gemacht hatten, gingen wir ins Wasser und stellten fest, dass Schwimmen schwierig werden würde. Dafür waren der Wellengang und die Strömung zu stark. Es war mehr ein Springen in den Wellen. Der gesamte Tag war sehr windig und das Meer rau. Während unseres Abendessens regnete es zweimal kurz, aber heftig.

After taking these picture we went into the sea and noticed, that swimming would be difficult today. The waves and the current were to strong for that. It was more jumping in the waves today. The whole day was windy and the sea rough. During our dinner it rained two times short but heavy.

Morgen Mittag verlassen wir das Hotel und beziehen stattdessen unsere Kabine auf der "Mein Schiff 1". Wir werden auf dem Schiff voraussichtlich kein WLAN haben. Es werden daher in den nächsten 8 Tagen nur vorbereitete Artikel mit unseren Plänen für den jeweiligen Tag erscheinen. Fotos und Berichte zu unseren Ausflügen gibt es dann, sobald wir auf Barbados sind oder dann persönlich nach unserem Urlaub.

Tomorrow at noon we are leaving the hotel and board the "Mein Schiff 1". On the ship we will probably not have WiFi. The articles being published during the next 8 days are scheduled to show what we have planned for the day. We will provide photos and reports on our excursions as soon as we reach Barbados or in person after our vacation.
